How we put a twist on beachfront hospitality for Rove Hotels
Rove Hotels is one of the UAE's fastest-growing mid-scale hospitality brands, with nearly 8,000 rooms and residences open or in development across the GCC. For the launch of Rove La Mer Beach, their first beachfront property and an entirely new category for the brand at the time, Eleven777 developed the campaign strategy, creative concept and key visuals for a hotel launch that needed to feel nothing like a conventional hotel launch.

The creative idea
The concept began with a question worth answering. What if Rovers could experience the best of both worlds: the comfort of a hotel room and the freedom of the beach, all at a delightfully attractive price?
The answer became a series of quirky, allegorical visuals that merged hotel-room comforts with an unmistakably beachy vibe, defying the conventions of UAE hospitality marketing. Starting from hand-sketched concepts refined in close collaboration with the Rove Hotels marketing team, the visuals were transformed into vibrant, sun-and-sand-saturated imagery through a fun photo-shoot and intricate post-production, with every waterfront element enhanced to make the audience feel the sand between their toes.
The copywriting matched the visuals: funny, functional, tongue-in-cheek.
The rollout
The campaign was deployed as a series of teasers and revealers across digital, social media and outdoor advertising platforms in the UAE, building anticipation ahead of launch. The work helped position Rove La Mer Beach as one of Dubai’s most talked-about new beachfront hotel destinations, and demonstrated how a distinctive creative concept can set a hospitality brand apart in a competitive market.
