A desert scene that hid a car in plain sight: Emirates NBD's 2022 Ramadan Campaign
Besides all the work Eleven777 does for Emirates NBD across its various business segments, Ramadan is a special time for us as an agency, creatively speaking. We developed the creative concept, key visuals and campaign production for the bank's 2022 Ramadan Auto Loan campaign, a seasonal banking campaign that needed to feel culturally grounded and commercially compelling in equal measure. A financing product, communicated during the most significant month on the UAE's cultural calendar, with no room for tone-deafness.

Rather than defaulting to conventional auto loan and Ramadan messaging, we built a richer seasonal world. A serene desert landscape under a crescent moon, two warmly glowing tents casting the sand dunes in the subtle silhouette of a car. The key visual rewarded closer attention; it offered a layer of discovery beyond the immediately obvious, which is what made it memorable.
This single, strong image was flexible enough to anchor an eDM and coherent enough to extend seamlessly into video, carrying the same visual world across formats without losing impact. It required no over-explanation to land across multiple banking communication channels.
The conceptual visual approach has become a recurring annual creative direction for Emirates NBD, evolving each year while retaining the same strategic spirit. It is now a repeatable brand asset.
That kind of longevity is not accidental. It comes from a creative concept that is simple enough to scale, distinctive enough to recall, and flexible enough to renew.
